Client Onboarding with HubSync

HubSync client onboarding has begun and will reach all of our clients by January 2026. Your client service team will communicate with you when it is time to set up your account.

What is the Blue & Co. Client Gateway?

The Blue & Co. Client Gateway (“Client Gateway”) is a secure online workspace powered by HubSync.

This platform allows you to:

  • Communicate directly with your Blue & Co. team
  • Share and receive documents securely
  • Add multiple contacts (e.g., spouse, owner, CFO) within one portal

Why did Blue & Co. make this change?

We are continually striving to make the tax return process even more streamlined and secure - and our new Client Gateway, powered by HubSync, is a big step in that direction.

Additionally. HubSync offers: 

  • Real-time messaging
  • Secure document exchange
  • Better tracking and client engagement

How do I login?

When logging in for the first time, you will receive an account setup message from one of the following email addresses:

Follow the prompts to setup and establish your account. 

If you have already set up your account, you can log in by visiting the HubSync website and entering your email.

Click “Forgot Password” on the login page, if needed, then enter your password following the security requirements listed on the page.

What if I didn't receive the account setup email?

If you didn't receive your account setup email message, check your inbox's junk and/or SPAM folders.

Why don’t I see a workspace after logging in?

If you are not seeing a workspace when you log in, you may not have access yet or need permission.

How can I access information quickly?

To access information quickly within the HubSync Client Gateway, use the Workspaces menu on the left, then select the Workspace (also called a “Tile”) you expect to access frequently.

Click the star icon on that Tile to save it as a Favorite at the top of the menu.

To unsave this Favorite, simply unclick the star.

Can I change my Client Gateway view?

Yes, users can change their Client Gateway viewing experience.

There are two different viewing options:

  • Tiles: Visual layout, customizable
  • Grid: Compact, structured for large data

If you prefer the default view, click “Reset to Default” in the upper right corner.

How do I upload files within the Client Gateway?

To upload files within the Client Gateway, users can upload individual files to the requested line item or upload multiple files under the Files tab.

Why am I receiving emails from AssureSign?

AssureSign is the system used by the Client Gateway to securely email you requests for your electronic signature on documents such as:

  • Engagement letters
  • Tax returns

To sign the documents, click the link in the email, and review the document. Select Adopt and apply your e-signature to complete.

Can I manage email notifications?

Yes, users can adjust their email notification settings within the platform. 

To manage your email notifications, sign into the Gateway, click your name (top right) → Notifications, then choose your communication preferences: Instant, Daily, or Never. You can apply these settings to specific HubSync modules

Do I have to use HubSync for e-signatures?

Yes, HubSync is our preferred method for secure document exchange and signature tracking.

What happens to my current portal?

TaxCaddy will remain active based on your arrangement. Contact your Blue & Co. team for help transferring documents that you have uploaded to TaxCaddy for the 2025 tax year.
